BBC - Chart success
Has BBC Records had success in the UK music charts?
Posted by Mike (2021-03-17).
39 singles and 18 albums have appeared in the UK Top Forty, including one number one single and four others in the top 10!
The BBC only starting releasing themes onto the market following a Pye record of the theme to Owen M.D. After this reached the charts, the BBC started releasing theme singles itself - with some success.
Most of the following is taken from a Wikipedia page, but including my pictures where I have them - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBC_Records.
