Con circa 23 singoli nella top 40 del Regno Unito e 17 album nella top 40 del Regno Unito fino ad oggi in una carriera che abbraccia quattro decenni, gli Stranglers sono una delle band più longeve e di maggior "continuo successo" che abbiano avuto origine nella scena punk britannica.
