BBC Transcription Services-Discs (vorher BBC Transcription Service (kein „s“), später BBC Transcription und heute BBC Radio International) wurden nur ausländischen Radiosendern zu Sendezwecken zur Verfügung gestellt und nicht zum Verkauf an die breite Öffentlichkeit angeboten. In den frühen 90er Jahren verkauften jedoch viele internationale BBC-Bibliotheken ihre Bestände an die Öffentlichkeit. Einschränkung: „Normalerweise druckte BBC Transcription Services 100 Kopien jeder CD, nur mit der Anweisung an den ausländischen Radiosender, die CD am Ende des Lizenzzeitraums zu vernichten.“
Beachten Sie, dass das Genre der öber dieses Label verfügbaren Sendungen genauso umfangreich ist wie die der wichtigsten BBC-Labels, die hier angezeigt werden können.
Außerdem werden seit vielen Jahren Schallplatten im In- und Ausland herausgegeben (die ältesten, die ich habe, tragen das Datum 1949, werden aber schon viel länger herausgegeben!) Im Gegensatz zu den meisten Schallplattenkatalogen hat jede Seite der BBC-Transkriptions-CD ihre eigene Katalognummer - Seite zwei ist normalerweise eine Zahl höher als Seite eins! |
