| This is the second of two records which accompany the BBC radio series of twenty programmes for those who already have an elementary knowledge of Spanish. The series is based not on sopecially written texts but on interviews collected in and around Valladolod on topics as diverse as life in a country town, the theatre, the national lottery, religion, the role of women in Spanish society, fashion, and life in a farming community. The voices you will hear on this record are not those of actors but of ordinary Spaniards talking about the things that interest or concern them. We would like to thank them all for their help in making this series. The interviewers Rafael G. | BBC-Sublabel für fremdsprachige Schallplatten. Dies war ab den frühen 1960er Jahren das erste BBC-Label, das der Öffentlichkeit zum Kauf angeboten wurde. Zunächst einmal konnte man diese nur direkt bei der BBC erwerben. Es wurden Sendungen ausgestrahlt, bei denen die Hörer die Sendung im Radio verfolgen konnten (normalerweise Trainingssendungen in Fremdsprachen) und dann die Schallplatte und ein separates Begleitbuch kaufen konnten. Diese könnten anschließend aufbewahrt werden, um mit dem Heimlernen fortzufahren. Später wurden die Sendungen auch für das Fernsehen aufgezeichnet und die Schallplatten sowie die Bücher waren in den Läden immer häufiger erhältlich. | ||
