| The BBC sound effects library is generally acknowledged to be the most comprehensive of its kind in the World, and with the publication of this series, sound effects used in BBC Television and Radio productions are now available for professional use and amateur use. The earlier editions in this series cover a wide range of sound effects whereas this particular record concentrates on period sounds of a Victorian character. USEFUL HINTS and suggestions for the use of these sound effects are printed with the sleeve notes on records 1 and 2. The sleeve notes are record number 3 also include a full summary of the contents of records 1 and 2. COPYRIGHT NOTE: Despite the prohibition notice on the label, the copying of the sound effects in this record on to tape for use in conjunction with a play or dubbing on to film is permitted. This does not apply to any other B.B.C. records including the Wildlife series. | ||
