Hugh Alan Cornwell (nacido el 28 de agosto de 1949) es un músico y cantautor inglés, mejor conocido por ser el vocalista y guitarrista de la banda de punk rock/new wave The Stranglers de 1974 a 1990.

Después de dejar el Stranglers, Cornwell trabajó con Roger Cook y Andy West como CCW. Su álbum homónimo fue lanzado en 1992. Cornwell ha lanzado varios álbumes en solitario, incluidos Wolf (1988), Wired (1993), Guilty (1997), Hi Fi (2000), Footprints in the Desert (2002), Mayday (2002). En el muelle (2003) y Más allá de los Campos Elíseos (2004). En 2006 apareció un álbum en vivo en dos formatos: People Places Pieces, una caja de triple CD, acompañada de un disco de lo más destacado del mercado masivo lanzado simultáneamente, Dirty Dozen.
