There, his only companions are a drowning girl, a bitter old crone and a crippled old man. And a swarm of bio-assassins, ready to kill everything in their path ... Part two Locked out of the TARDIS, the Doctor finds himself on a ship as it is torpedoed by a German U-Boat during the First World War. Rescued by the Germans, the Doctor realises that some of the crew are controlled by a quite unearthly force ... Part three The Doctor is trapped aboard the starcruiser Ediface. But most of the crew are dead, and those that have survived are in fear of something that can eat time itself. But at the back of the Doctor's mind, something is niggling. This all seems very familiar ... Part four The Doctors are brought back to Gallifrey by the conquerors of time, the Knights of Velyshaa. But does the Temperon, the legendary time beast they have trapped beneath the Capitol know the secrets of a far greater evil? And must one of the Doctor's make the ultimate sacrifice to finally defeat the sirens of time? | ||
Further information | ||
Doctor Who is a British science fiction television programme produced by the BBC since 1963. The programme depicts the adventures of a Time Lord called "the Doctor", an extraterrestrial being, to all appearances human, from the planet Gallifrey. The Doctor explores the universe in a time-travelling space ship called the TARDIS. Its exterior appears as a blue British police box, which was a common sight in Britain in 1963 when the series first aired. Accompanied by a number of companions, the Doctor combats a variety of foes while working to save civilisations and help people in need. |
