I am guessing their can't be many people who don't like this one! Probably one of the most played records from the era by the BBC!

Ennio Morricone was born in Rome in 1928. Few film composers have been as inventive and masterful as this man whose best known scores include "A fistful of Dollars", "For a few Dollars more", "1900", "Moses" and "La cage aux folles". In 1968 his film composition "The good, the bad and the ugly" was no. 1 single for Hugo Montenegro here in the UK.
"Chi Mai" (however) reached no. 2 in the pop charts in 1981. It was used as the theme from the BBC-TC series "The life and time of David Lloyd George", its haunting melody is perfectly suited to the Welsh countryside and life story of Wales' most famous politician.
